Reflection on ICT to impart Life Skills topic on Problem solving skills
Class-8.

As I enter the class on 19th of September, 2019. My objective is by the end of the lesson, each child should be able to critically evaluate situations for problem solving and effective decision making.
Life skill being used: Self-awareness, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and creative thinking.
Firstly, I greeted the class and recap what they have learned in the previous class. Ask them if they have faced any problems in their life?
Ask them what are the different kinds of problems they faced so far?
REMINDED THEM TO BE CONFIDENTAIL
 If yes, ask them how did they solve the problem? What are the steps involved in solving the problems? 
Tell students that everybody faces problems daily. Life is like a journey on the road full of thorns, we must make best use of our skills so that the thorns do not prick us. Some problems could affect our health if we do not solve them skillfully. Today, we are going to discuss on the PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS.
This time I have recorded a problem faced by one of the student of my class in my mobile phone and let all the students hear his situation. This was done in the class in groups. Let them hear to the problem twice or thrice. They will also hear how he has overcome his problems.   
After that I have shared 5 EASY STEPS TO PROBLEM SOLVING through What, Why, How, Which and Act solutions. Through this lesson, I was able to give the message that Problem solving is the important life skill which is used every day by all ,It is a skill which can be developed by constant practice,Problem solving can be carried out by asking five different questions and Problem solving skill can help us to protect from diseases and promote our health.

    Hearing for the first time and you have used it for other subject than the major subjects of a school. You are also the first person to teach life skill with ICT and came to know that you did it. Knowing that it worked now I am also planning to teach one of my value lesson with ICT integration.Thanks for sharing your idea of using in other subjects.

    Good that you have integrated ICT application appropriately for teaching life skills education. ICT is a catalyst that would make the lesson interactive.

    I didnt think of ict can be used to teach life skills. It is actually a good idea. So far, I have been teaching life skills through talk and I didnt see teachers using ict to teach life skills. Really informative la.

    It's very interesting to learn that. Sir have taught life skills using ICT tools and techniques. It is fabulous to see using ICT beside teaching subjects too.
